New Mama Hair Cut.

I wanted a change for summer, since I have thick, thick, thick, thick hair.  Did I say think?  Something light and different (light meaning 4 inches off, thinned out, and layered).  We added some highlights too.  Lots of fun to do. Been at least 2 or 3 years.

Easter.

Easter day, I was so overwhelmed with four Easters, one BIG egg hunt at my aunts, and Church (not in that particular order).  I didn't take any pictures.  My family took millions so I am sure to get some. :)  I was to busy chasing my Kirra and Baili around.  My aunt MaryAnn and uncle Jim's house with no fence and thousands of square feet my kids were out of sight often!  Thankfully, I have a big family with lots of help.  Except Aleka, my cousin's wife who was due April 14 and is still pregnant she can barely move.  She kept telling me...just get me food, whatever, everything. LOL.  This is someone who is very healthy and hasn't gained a pound elsewhere than her belly.  She has a FULL belly.  Due any day now.  A new baby girl to add the the 17 second cousins clan we have going already.  Her name is going to be Daly (our grandfather's maiden name).  Long story to that.  Another time.

Easter am-
We had a great morning at the grocery store.  Just Kirra and I.  Yes the grocery store in peace. Than a small Easter hunt at Autum's house.  What fun!  Than church it was wonderful, I miss church.  Kirra goes to daycare (Sunday School) even at age 2.  Baili stays with me and the family.  Than off to my cousin Shelbi's first Easter celebration.  Than we went to Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Jim's for a big Easter egg hunt and drinks and food. So fun with so many cousins and cousins kids.  I LOVE MY FAMILY!!  Than lastly at my father's house with Nana and some other family.  Girls were so tired by that time...but soon as they stepped into Papa's house and saw Papa and Nana they finally were "at home and comfy."  They were running around stuffing their faces with food and loving all their gifts.  I can't believe the energy they had with no naps.  Nana and Papa said, did you feed your kids???  I guess they are more comfy with Nana and Papa than all the other homes we went.  Even though it was all family homes, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.

I actually counted their Easter baskets today (not gifts or clothes) just baskets on my kitchen table.  They have 12, yes 12.  That is too much.  We had a great Easter!  I did take a couple of pictures when we finally got home off my cell phone in the car in the car seats.  Enjoy.

New Mexico PRE Gifts for Easter a Week Early.

I am kind of embarrassed to say this isn't Easter gifts at all.  This was a week before Easter.

My Godparents from New Mexico love my angels to death and always send lots of gifts for three holidays.  One = Girls b-day, the day we celebrate their lives.  After the NICU for four months and what we have dealt with Baili....November 30 is a big deal.  Now the b-day delivery is insane.  However talking to them on the phone or in person is the best delivery I ever get.  But hey these are my Godparents and my aunt and uncle that love K and B so much.  Their son is actually Baili's Godfather (James) and their son (James) is my Dad and Mom's God Son.  We kept the chain working... I guess they started it since James is 6 months older than me.

Dave and Vivian are really special, nice, funny, fun, sweet people. Our best friends.  Only if they lived closer.  I really can't tell you in words how much we LOVE them.  We unfortunately met on a sad occasion last month for my Grandmother's death.  You know I tell what is on my mind on my blog...  David (My Dad's cousin) his Mom was my Grandmother's only cousin (Jean).  My Grandmother and her cousin Jean both had no siblings or any other family.  So they were raised like sisters but my Grandmother was raised in Detroit and Jean in El Paso.  Anyhow short story:  The Dyers in New Mexico are truly great people and I can count on them for ANYTHING, anytime.  And well I can't say that about many.  Two=  Christmas is a big deal too.  We get a big delivery for Christmas and lastly or Third=Easter. Every time I am so surprised.  Now the girls get all ecstatic when their boxes come to the door.  Anyway here are some pictures of the girls opening up their PRE-EASTER gifts from Uncle David, Aunt Vivian, James, and Alison, Jeff, and Sydney.

My cousin Ali has a baby girl that is 6 months older than my girls her name is Sydney and the cutest girl on EARTH!!  My cousin Ali is also due in September with baby number 2.  Can't wait to see that new little one in the oven!  Love Ali and we hope to make a big family meet up in Pinetop this summer.  It is a half way point from Albuquerque and Phoenix.

Here are some pics from last week opening our gifts from the Dyer clan.  Thank you for being so special and we are blessed you are our family.  Love you!!!

Yes all of these were the girls PRE Easter gifts from my aunt and uncle in NM.  Can I say spoiled????!!!  I said to my aunt that isn't normal??  Not only is nice but she is very crafty.  Wraps every gift with her artistic touch.  Also each outfit has a matching shirt, shorts, hair tie, and socks. =)

This was cool hair bows on top and tons of other hair pieces below.  Very girly!!

It's a chicken egg!!

Easter Eve! 4-23-2011

My friend Autum took me to the Duck and Decanter for my birthday.  It was a lot of fun.  She has a two year old about 6 months older than mine named Peyton (girl).  The three girls played out side while we sipped wine and had a cheese and meat plate and talked.  What a relaxing couple of hours!  Very nice out! Easter is the best time of the year in AZ.!
