First Halloween party this year.

Kirra and her cousins Tessa and Delaney. It was over 100 so we striped Kirra down from her costume.

A little taste of Halloween. We went to a twin Halloween costume party from my twin group this weekend. It was at Scottsdale Ranch Park. EXTREMELY HOT and about 100 out... so in these costumes-- well it was fun but HOT!! Kirra got a fun spider tattoo. Baili wasn't sure about the face painting and tattooing but they both had a lot of fun. Kirra of course loved the bouncy house, but she couldn't stand in it. Everyone kept knocking her over. Pretty cute seeing all the double troubles everywhere, some triple, and quads too. When I say there were a lot of kids, there were a lot of kids.

Ocean Pictures in Mission Beach, CA. - San Diego Pics.

Miss B with all the yucky birds near her. You know why? Papa gave them popcorn!

Loving the sand in the bucket with water. But we don't drink it, Baili does....she elects to be an "individual" however the salty water wasn't her favorite. You should of seen the face!

Miss B loving life!!! We call her West Side.

Miss B wasn't so sure about the sand but refused to wear her glasses or sunglasses...

Our beautiful Kirra - yes she got burned with #50 on!! Just like Mama...ahhhh. Sorry Kirra. :)

Miss Kirra who needed her OWN chair! She is such a great beach baby!! Why less pics of Kirra because she was off playing in the sand, ocean, and with other children! Such a social butterfly not like me... but hey it's a great personality to have!!

Finger Painting Fun with K and B.

We decided to do some finger painting crayola style. The girls loved it! Baili was laughing the whole time. So cute! Here are their finished masterpieces. Thanks to K and B's cousin Leah and Katie telling me where to get the paints from Seattle. I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Girls did a great job. Also K was telling me all the colors! Very educational too.

Baili was also getting pushed around tonight by her sister. She is SO small she fits in the baby grocery cart. She was scared at first then LOVED it laughing out loud! It was so cute.

Happy Sunday family and friends.

Always,
The Momma

For Baili Bug.

· A Poem Someone shared with me about having a Child with Special Needs in My Twins Group Forum. I found it all so true.

This post is for My “Baili Julia Ideker” you will always be my baby and my strength no matter who gets in our way. I will fight for you to the end.

For, within each day...
We may have every strength and weakness of our own tested
We will have to fight and advocate for our children
We will choose to protect our integrity and theirs
We will stand firm amongst criticism and in our beliefs
We can choose to embrace their uniqueness
We will love them with every part of our being
We can find renewed hope and strength
We can find peace and love where there may not have otherwise been
We may cry, grieve, and mourn what we can not, or do not have
Yet, we can choose to celebrate, value, and appreciate what we do!

For most of us, we face our lives enmeshed with a special needs child with an incredible amount of strength and courage. We count our blessings, we realize the frailty and preciousness of life, we find wings we may have never had, and we, in the end, inspire others and show our children amazing and unconditional love. We climb a tough mountain, for sure... but, the tougher it is, the steeper it is, the more hurdles we encounter on the way, the more we appreciate the view from the top. We have seen and learned things most people don't get a chance to. We value differences, validate each other, and know a love and appreciation deeper than most!

To all the moms (and dads!) out there who embrace their child with special needs and love them in such a unique way...

I applaud you and praise you for your unique sacrifice!
I want you to feel my arms wrapping around you with a tremendous THANK YOU HUG!
I hope you keep dreaming, keep loving, keep sharing, keep finding hope and strength.
I wish for you to reach out and help others learn from your struggles and connect with the world in a way you never dreamed possible!

This was written from a Mom in my Speical Needs twin group. I read this today and every ounce is our life with Baili. Baili my darling, we will never give up and you will make it. I guarantee it. We all love you too much to even ever dream differently. We love you Baili more than you could EVER IMAGINE possible!!!!

This is what happens at Bedtime.

This is what happens at bed time. Love the shirt G'ma Denise gave Baili in Cali. It says, "Go Ahead Push Me Around But You Ought To Know My Grandma is the Biggest, Baddest, Meanest Lady in Town! Love it! Another one says, I may be small but my G'ma is Mean. LOL.

Baili snuggles with Shamu and all her blankets and animals. Very cute. Kirra does too. Oh I love them!! Baili is pulling herself up in her bed almost to her feet and crawling all over now. Slowly but crawling all over. Makes us so HAPPY!!! She is getting into all kinds of stuff she never did before!!

I added one pic in there from PB sunset and one of Kirra at the SeaWorld Beer Gardens. Of course Auntie needed a beer break. LOL. So K and B got some pretzels with cheese!!

San Diego, CA Trip with my babies!!!

Well we went to San Diego for a long weekend trip to visit. We left Friday morning when I woke up and came home last night late. We had so MUCH FUN! Visiting family, cousins, friends, etc. My sister flew in from Las Vegas and we stayed at the Ocean Beach Hotel. Yes right on the water! My babies loved loved loved loved it!

I would say Kirra, "where's the water, where's the ocean, where's the sand, where's the beach???" She would point right to it and say, "sand, ocean, beach, peeeeease!!!!!" She LOVED it! Her and Baili!!!! Kirra however was funny. Running to the ocean every time I put her back up with us on the beach she would run to the water as fast as possible. Diving in waves and rolling. Really LOVED it. Baili was building stuff with buckets of sand and water loving life. She loved the water when Mama was holding her! Why? Cuz I am the Mama! She trusts me. It was so fun to see Joanne, Don, Jennifer, Harper, all the Mission Beach and PB crowd.

It did remind me of my days I lived in San Diego for four yrs prior to kids. Only had to worry about work and my (boyfriend) at the time. Are you kidding me? Was such a non worry do whatever life....and I thought it was so hard....please. Just cleaning up after me and dealing with the daily life of working two jobs, going to beach, and keeping up with a relationship.

But I wouldn't change anything for the world... Just wish I still lived there but with my babies! Be on the beach everyday and see family. It was rainy and cloudy most days but sunny two days. We went to Sea World and saw yes, Shamu. Kirra didn't like the penguins and Baili LOVED them. Kirra liked the dolphins and the sting rays. Baili liked Elmo, man Baili liked it all!!! Kirra was definitely a OB gal and so was Baili. All the OB bums where telling the twins welcome to OB! They were a hit in OB. Lots of looks and questions. If you've been to OB you'd know. Or understand. Hit up the Pennant in MB and just had so much fun. Was it hard with twins you bet ya. My sister said a number of times she could never have kids and work. Way to hard or never have kids. She loves mine but says I don't know how you do it? She said she was so tired. I said this is only 6 days of you helping. She says I know and I am so tired I can't even explain. I think she understands know how hard a single momma to twins is. :) Especially with the 2's coming in with full force!!

It was a nice BUSY relaxing weekend. My sister stayed with me and the girls and my Dad and Denise stayed in a beach house in Mission Beach. We were in Mission most of the time except at night. Then Monday we OB' it all day long! So nice to wake up to waves and the ocean every morning. What a life!! So beautiful and relaxing!! Even though taking two toddlers wasn't easy at all. It was worth the experiences they had and they got to meet some family they never met before.

Did I say I drove them myself with twin one yr olds with a car packed to the rim! You bet ya! It was TOUGH!!! But worth it. Like where or when can I pee? Um can't leave them alone in the car??!! Overall they were pretty good travelers. Took 9 hours instead of 6 but who's counting. I won't even talk about the car sickness' and screaming. It may be a few yrs to do it again?

I did FORGET my bathing suit and camera. I know! :( I took a few pics on my phone but other than that didn't get pics. Auntie Joanne did so at least I will have those. Overall the girls loved SEAWORLD to death and the beach and all the happening stuff to do. They didn't nap once in all those days! They didn't want to miss out on all the fun! :) We really love San Diego and I know they will go back 100's of times to come. So cute to see their faces of touching the sand for the first time. Kirra would say it and, and, and, instead of sand. And Baili wouldn't let her legs down on it!! Did anything not to touch that sand, so FUNNY!!! She got used to it and was fine.... Kirra played with every kid she saw. You know how she loves kids!

Did I mention my Dad turns 60 tomorrow! Papa Burt and G'ma or Nana Denise spoiled them rotten in San Diego btw. It really was fun.
