Pinetop, Pacific Beach, and the Hospital...What else???

So we went up to my cabin FINALLY it only took me three years!  Ha.  Well the girls went in July of 2008 when I was pregnant but they don't remember...  They loved it.  It is a great get away a small town Pinetop, AZ in the County Club.  I grew up going there and now my kids will...since it's now my Dad's cabin.  Used to be his parents cabin.  They LOVED it.  We did a champagne brunch at the country club, went to the art festival, and mainly just played cards at the cabin and enjoyed spending time together.  It was a LONG drive up there since Kirra always gets car sick but we had to go!  It's around a 4 hour drive that ended up much longer each way...  It was nice to get out of the heat and do something fun prior to Baili's surgery.

I am hoping when we go to the beach it is a flat drive and she will be okay.  However last October when we went....she did puke a LOT!!  I get car sick too if I don't drive, we have weak stomachs.

I put some pics up of the beach because we are FINALLY going on vacation to the beach!!!  Yeah!!!  Sept. 19-25 can't wait to go!  Pacific Beach, Sea World (maybe) and just loving the weather there!  San Diego here we come!!!

Baili had her surgery and it went well and then Thursday night it was SCARY.  She was on morphine, oxygen, Tylenol codeine, antibiotics, iv fluids, g tube, etc.  It was very scary on Thursday and Friday and got better Saturday.  I won't go into detail but Baili and I have never cried so much...  We are home now and getting better each day.  Prayers are working thank you!

She is quiet, happy, but in pain.  I pray after this week it will be behind us and she is already breathing better and not snoring or getting her breath cut off.  The doctor said her tonsils were so big they cut off her breathing while sleeping all the way!  So we had to do it... Plus before RSV season coming up.  They try not to do this surgery during RSV season in the hospital.

We are starting with the nanny this week.  I can't wait.  No more home daycare!  I didn't like that place for so many reasons!!  The nanny has been working with Baili and Kirra already at night so they know her well...  She even visited Baili in the hospital and cares so much about Baili.  :)  We are lucky to have her!!

Tata for now....

Love,

The Mama
