Baili

Doctor Padrez our wonderful pediatrician tested Kirra among many things and she is doing above the average according to Padrez.  Saying over 200 words or basically anything you ask her...she repeats and most importantly identifies.  She knows exactly what all the words mean, meaning.  Yeah, I used to be a teacher and meaning and comprehension are just as important!  I taught Spanish speakers English and well just like Kirra they were learning the language.  In all areas she is doing great!  Doctor would like her to gain but not worried she will stay on whole milk this year.  Tall and thin what else could a girl ask for??  I still see she has a belly, the baby belly, lol.  I can't believe we don't have to go back until age 3!!  Unless sick of course.  Kirra is really a big toddler now and doing pretend play and all the toddler things that go with being 2!  She is strong willed and has a very "red head" strong personality!!  Hang out for a few hours with her and you will know exactly what I am talking about. I love her!!!!!!!  Stacking blocks to high high rises and playing mommy with all her babies are some of her favs right now.  Learning numbers, colors, animals, etc.  Learning lots every day!

Baili is progressing with everything!!!  OT, PT, SP, DSI, DSI II.  She is NOT gaining weight, she is  losing weight.  We are saddened and I won't go into detail.  However all of her specialists are working on some procedures and a plan in the hospital to see what is wrong.  She is a happy love!!!  Doing so well progressing.  In OT yesterday she was working so hard!  Doing so well with directions and proper play developmental with toys.  Pulling herself up now, speed crawler, talking more, laughing, and has a laid back personality.  She knows what to do when she wants something and can be very loud!!  But she really is a bear love.  Loves hugs and kisses and to be held and hugged like a bear with her head tucked on your shoulder and face on your neck.  She loves snuggles.  All of a sudden she really has taken off on therapies, yeah!!!!  The feeding and weight thing is a problem and we are working with the doctors on it.

Both girls got their flu shots the preservative free and H1N1 in the shot.  Kirra didn't even notice the shot, she never does.  Baili acted like her life was over, poor baby...

Kirra and Baili play all day long and kiss and hug and just adore each other.  It really is amazing!  I never want to separate them.

With Love,
The Mama
