My Two Favorite People in 2010... Happy New Years Eve 2010. 12-31-10

Kirra - You make the world a better place. You are my heart, my soul, my everything. I love you more than I could ever show or tell you. You are so smart and I truly believe you will be a doctor of some sort by watching over your sister like you do. You are a true "care taker." You are a people person and lovable to all. You do have a 2 yr old attitude at times. Only because you are frustrated when you can't tell me what you want/need. You tested at three yr old levels at 24 months. You are gifted you truly are and I hope you use it for your life paths. You are only 2 but your have gifts, I can see this. I know you will use your talents. I love you baby. You make me a better person.

The ocean. How beautiful. Kirra was named after a beach in Australia called Kirra Beach, in Australia. Also her Dad named her because he loved the name. Her spelling is from Kirra Beach. She loves the water any kind and it really resembles her well. She LOVES the sand, ocean, beach, you name it. Rolls in it all day long. I love the name Kirra. Then you got my Mama's name as your middle name. Kirra Ruthi Ideker. Since Daddy named you - you got my Mama's name as your middle name. Love it.

Baili - You are a true angel from God. You make our world happier, healthier, and more peaceful. You make me not sweat the small stuff. You make our family truly know what a miracle baby really means. We are up to the 3 million count in insurance bills for you. Thank God we live in America. You have gone so far and we are so PROUD of you. I love you more than words could ever explain. You are my heart, my soul, my everything. You make people believe that things can happen, miracles are real. You are the happiest baby in the world. I LOVE YOU. Your are your sister's world too. All she talks about is "sissy."

Baili you were named after Bailey's Irish Cream. Well because I love this drink, we are Irish, and I love the name!! We dropped the "ey" because Bailey is a boy/girl name and "ey" is masculine. You are a girl silly! "i" at the end is feminine at least all my family told me this... Also everyone in our family spells their names with an "i" at the end. Aunt Cari, Aunt Penni, cousin Shelbi, Grandma Ruthi, etc. So you are named Baili with an "i" at the end. Also named after one of Mama's favorite Irish drinks. It suits you well. You are great cool or warm and you are so sweet and wonderful all the time. I love the name Baili. Since I named you- you got your Grandma Julie (your Daddy's Mama's) name as your middle name. Baili Julia Ideker. So pretty.

This is just the cutest baby in the world besides Kirra of course! Happy New Year's Eve! I am so blessed and thankful for you two. I love you both. Happy 2010.....

A Poem About Twins
The heavens were excited, statistics were right.

"Gather round" the wisest of angels said, "Gods designed twins tonight."

It's quite a marvelous process as anybody knows...

Two separate souls beginning their lives, as his love just overflows.

Perhaps he'll make them just alike, or as different as can be.

But that's the way he wants it. He's planned it that way you see.

He must find a loving mom and a special dad...

For twins take special parents and the best just must be had.

So your joy is mighty special, I'm sure you know that's true.

God knew you'd be these parents and so, he's sent you two.

Christmas kisses on Christmas Day at my Dad's house. Yes at this point it was our third Christmas out of four in a day.

We had four Christmas' like the movie. So tired. So busy. Lots of fun. I have learned when you have kids everyone wants you to come over and no isn't an option. LOTS of fun, just too much for a day. Also had fun after Christmas in an all day play date with some high school friends in town. A busy last six days but so fun filled with family and friends and lots of gifts. Lots of love. And the new years stuff starts tomorrow... I am so blessed to have twins that are well behaved and very much loved by all their family.

Christmas Eveeeeee and Things.....

Merry Christmas to all. We had a very relaxing Christmas Eve, well the girls did. We played all day at home and I got chores done while they napped. We made cupcakes with "candy" on them. Kirra kept saying, "candy, candy, candy, candy, peeeeeeessssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!" That girl knows when there is candy around and she will fit for it! They loved helping me top the cupcakes Baili and Kirra.

Then we went to my Mom's side of the family's Christmas Eve party. It's a family tradition, and my cousin Kate has been doing it for 30 years now! This was her 30 yr last night. Her parents, etc did it before her. It is very special because we take time out to visit with family we don't see all year. Also remember the ones we miss. Including Kate's husband Richard and My Mom to name two. There were probably roughly 80 people, all family. Probably more. It was fun. Her house is huge so chasing Kirra and watching Baili in a home FULL of breakables can be quite challenging at times, let me tell you. All in fun and games. She has I call a "mini mansion" if I didn't watch Kirra for a second, she was once in the pool room and then in a bedroom with someone's glasses on and grabbing their purse. I thought her aunt had her. Scary in such a big house. I didn't get any pictures at the party, as I forgot my purse at home. Long day. I took some at the house during the day.

Funny at the party a lady asked me if she could paint the girls? I said okay. She was like picture perfect. She took a ton of pictures of the girls, she is a painter and maybe related to me? I am not sure? I forgot to ask... I did have to sign something saying she could paint them. She was telling me they are beautiful and I must paint them. I said thanks, I guess. She was snapping away like a photographer, it was funny, as I was chasing them around. I did take it as a compliment, since I had no clue who she was. Maybe I will see her paintings one day?

We have Christmas here this morning with the twins and my sister and Daddy, then my Dad's Christmas during the day, and then a long Christmas at my Grandma's tonight. Merry Christmas everyone!! Hopefully the girls won't get too spoiled!!
