A Poem About Twins 
The heavens were excited, statistics were right.

"Gather round" the wisest of angels said, "Gods designed twins tonight."

It's quite a marvelous process as anybody knows...

Two separate souls beginning their lives, as his love just overflows.

Perhaps he'll make them just alike, or as different as can be.

But that's the way he wants it. He's planned it that way you see.

He must find a loving mom and a special dad...

For twins take special parents and the best just must be had. 

So your joy is mighty special, I'm sure you know that's true.

God knew you'd be these parents and so, he's sent you two.

 This was Kirra on my birthday three years ago.

 This is her now.

Girls have twin beds now.  This is before Easter.  For Easter they got new homemade Minnie Mouse comforters and pillow cases with their names stitched on.  So CUTE. :)

Easter Sunday at my Dad's house aka Papa.

 Yes we do ice cream on Easter.  Papa's house we do ice cream for anything.  First thing K does when we go there...whispers in my ear.  "I need ice cream."  Says this to me not Papa.  I tell her we don't do ice cream with Mama.  You go ask the source.  She says okay.  Easter they had candy, ice cream, ice cream cake, you name it.

Yum!

 Easter baskets from Papa.  So simple but probably their favorite gift of the day.  Yes there was fighting involved.  M and M's, grass, and baskets is a big deal for 3 yr olds.  All the other stuff can get overwhelming to them.

K loves to push B in the backyard.  Screams at me if I help.

Be careful if you blink -- three years came too fast.  I can't believe I am 33 today.  Been a Momma for 3 years now.  30 was good I had newborns just out of the NICU we were healthy, we made it home, shit it took 4 months.  31 was good too just mainly surviving.  32 I wanted to make changes some of which I DID.  33 I am lost in ways.  Hey that happens sometimes right?

I will end with what I say to my students, faculty, cooperating teachers, superintendents, etc at work sometimes.

Make it a great day.  You could be the change in one persons life.  It may not be much too many but changing that one person can mean the world to them.  Give a compliment to a stranger.  They may need it.

I need to take my own advice today.
