3 year check up on 12/5/2011-
Twin A - aka "Kirra Ruthi Ideker" she likes to say her full name at all times. I am hoping this is just another stage...aka Kirs, Kir Bear, Bear, Kirra Ruthi, but usually Bear is used most often. No clue why just is the way it is.
Height - ..ummm I don't remember the inches BUT she was in the 95%
Weight - 36.5 pounds in the 82%
Head - I don't remember. Oh, I am a bad Mama but hey I can measure her myself. She is always in the 98%
Twin B - aka "Baili Julia Ideker" she likes to point to herself and call herself "Baby" meaning "Baili" lacking the "l" sound. I tend to call her, Bai, Baili Bug, Bug, Julia, or Ideker. Ideker is probably the most used name. Why you ask? I have zero clue. You all know how well her Dad and I get along. When I call her Ideker she runs from me and laughs. So it's cute.
Height - I don't remember the inches in the 23%
Weight - 25 pounds in the 5% or below.
Head - I don't remember but she is always in the 5%
The thing about Baili is she is proportionate for Baili. Same percentile for height, head, and height. She is a petite little peanut. Just the way she was made.
Well our 3 year check up went well. I am 5 "7" and my mom was 5 "9" so I see why Kirra is so tall. My Mom's three sisters are or were 5 "9". Everyone is tall in my family for girls and guys. Baili on the other hand took her Dad's side the Ideker side. Baili is not only short but really really short and petite in every way. The Ideker side - well they seem to be short. The ones I have met and heard about and their Grandma (Josh's Mom and sister too). It's funny because Kirra looks like me and Baili like her Dad. However I named Baili and Josh named Kirra. Funny how things turned out. Baili though has Josh's mom's name as her middle name and Kirra has my mom's name as her middle name, so we actually both named both of them in a way.
They both got shots for the flu otherwise doctor says they're doing great. Baili is in her special preschool 4 days a week, 15 hours a week or so with the bus and still receives OT, PT, and SP at home weekly, 3 hours a week. She still has tons of doctor appointments but we keep trucking along and progressing. :) Kirra will start school maybe part time in the spring at Baili's school we are thinking...maybe at (PVSD) Paradise Valley School District - Preschool. It is pricey for Kirra to go. Kirra is doing very well in all her development and areas of learning she is a very happy girl/twin/sister/leader/friend to her sister. Baili is doing great walking, and starting to talk more. So proud. Kirra has attitude and is a very smart girl. To me she seems to be well above the average 3 year old but I am her mom. However her doctor and other teachers that Baili has observe Kirra and tell us this. She counts to 100 and talks like a 5 year old but again I am the Mama so I probably shouldn't be so biased. Baili is tiny, petitie, quiet, and kind and has progressed beyond words!!! They really are a great pair and keep me on my feet at all times.
With Love,
The Mama
